Saben Aksesuar Hediyelik Eşya Sanayi Ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (hereinafter referred to as “MonReve”) cares about your security in order to protect you from damages that may be caused by third malicious parties and software during your use of www.shopmonreve.com site and services we provide to you in general. Accordingly, we submit the following statement for your information and attention.
About online shopping process,
According to the rules implemented by the Interbank Card Centre (BKM) within the framework of VISA and MASTERCARD rules, it has become mandatory to obtain CVV2/CVC2 security code number of card holders for all companies that carry out Mail Order and Electronic Commerce transactions. This method aims to protect both you and the banks from any risks that may arise. CVV2/CVC2 security code is the three-digit number on the far right of card number, located on the signature panel on the back of the credit card. If transactions are made in environments where the credit card is not physically present, the security code must be used. For this reason, you will be asked for your three-digit CVV2/CVC2 number along with your credit card number during online shopping. With this security code number application, we fully meet the requirements of national and international card acceptance rules and minimize them and offer you a safer shopping environment.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
SSL is a security protocol used for communication security on web (internet network) and ensures confidentiality and integrity of data transfer. Widely supported by web pages and browsers, SSL, ensures that messages between customer and store are encrypted and decrypted only at the correct address.
SSL uses digital certificates to verify identity of parties involved in an internet transaction. A digital certificate owner sends an encryption key along with certificate to other party to encrypt any message to be sent to it. Since a message encrypted with the key sent together with certificate can only be decrypted by certificate owner, it is ensured that the message is read only by the right person.
SSL uses Public Key Encryption Method as its encryption system. Due to this method, SSL both ensures the confidentiality and integrity of transferred data in communication on web (internet network), as well as confirms identities of client and server. However, SSŞ cannot prove that person performing transaction is the owner of the credit card and cannot prevent the store from entering the credit card data.
MonReve provides its SSL Security System with a 128-bit SSL encryption agreement made with COMODO.
Why is online shopping safe on MonReve Internet Network Page?
The credit card information you used during your shopping experience through MonReve will be encrypted on your computer and this information will be decrypted and processed only when they reach the contracted bank’s system. 128-bit SSL 3.0 encryption technology, which is widely used for encryption on internet, is used to encrypt any communication between Virtual POS system of contracted banks and your computer.
Please make sure that www.shopmonreve.com, which is domain name of MonReve, is written in the address bar especially during shopping and any transactions that require information. Today, it is possible for third malicious parties to copy websites and/or interfaces with some special software and interventions, and to gain information and profit through piracy by directing users on a site other than the one they think they are browsing. MonReve does not assume any responsibility for direct or indirect damages that may occur in such situations.
What is SSL 3.0/128-bit and How Does It Work?
128-bit SSL 3.0 encryption is an encryption technology implemented in the latest internet browsers as mentioned above. Due to 128-bit SSL 3.0 encryption, your communication with our contracted banks will be encrypted with a new 128-digit password each time.
Despite all these precautions, MonReve cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by attacks on our company’s website and bank system, unless the existence of a clear fault or negligence is proven.
We wish you a safe and smooth shopping experience.”
